Flags are powerful symbols of place and identity. Join us to design your own personal emblems and create your own no-sew flag. Following in the steps of the artists in Necessary Futures and vexillology (the study of flags), participants will use fabric, markers, scissors, and no-sew techniques to create a flag that represents themselves.
All materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring any fabrics that they would like to use. This workshop is free and open to all ages.
